This piece of art if you look
to it really close is made out of words. The person that comes out in this
drawing is Calle 13 and the words that make it are the lyrics of his songs. I
choose to do this picture because I like a lot this group of music so I try to
do my best making a drawing of him. To do this work of art I just use pen to
the letter and that way to see it more clearly. Also as you can see we don’t
use the words to feel all of the drawing we just use it for the background and
the borders of the picture. We use a bigger amount of words in the parts that
are mor4e dark in the parts that are lighter we use less amount of words and
then we are able to see some kind of shades. In this project first we draw the
picture that we choose in a different piece of paper with pencil, and then when
we are finished we pass the borders with the pen and then we erase the pencil
lines. It is kind of long but at the end you are able to see your drawing in a
different perspective.
What I did well in this project was tracing my entire picture with words but the difficult part was making the drawing, even though we trace, it was difficult to trace it exactly the same as it was. Also because I choose a picture that was taken just of one side of his face, that fact make it to be more easier because of less details I had a really good time making this project because it was a different kind of project because it has a different what of making it. I also learned how to do this kind of art and that was really interesting.
